Music for All
Our Music for All scheme provides a variety of music-based workshops and groups for all ages which are fun and engaging.
Who is it for?
At Chiltern Music Therapy, we believe that everyone can benefit from playing, singing and making music to improve their lives, develop essential skills and just to have fun!
What do we offer?
We run a variety of groups such as, samba groups, song-writing workshops, pre-school sing and sign groups, singing for fun groups for the general public and brain-training through music for all ages. We run these groups from local community centres and also provide one-off workshops for schools, care homes and day centres. We also offer sessions for people with health problems but who do not have a need for Music Therapy , such as singing groups for those with respiratory problems, or music-making groups for those with mobility problems.
Training though Music For All
As part of this scheme, we also offer training sessions for other health care professionals and anyone working with relevant client groups to enable them to use music more effectively as a part of their everyday care or treatment programmes.
You may work for a care or residential home and be looking for new and innovative ways to use music as part of the daily routine or perhaps you just want help with some music-making as part of a one-off event or workshop you are running. Whatever your thoughts, please call us for a chat!
